Within the scope of the “Türkiye’s Net Zero Emission Target: Road Map for Transport” Project, a 3-day theoretical and hands-on training was delivered on 18, 24 and 26 December 2025 on integrated land-use and transport modelling. The training covered the TRANUS modelling system, database structure, base-year simulation, development of trend and alternative scenarios, and interpretation of modelling outputs for planning and policy applications.
The training was delivered by Prof. Tomás de la Barra and attended by 18 participants. The programme aimed to strengthen participants’ capacity in integrated land-use and transport modelling, enhance their ability to conduct scenario-based analysis, and support the effective use of model outputs in strategic decision-making processes.
