Within the scope of the “Türkiye’s Net Zero Emission Target: Road Map for Transport” Project, ISO 14064 training was conducted between 30 June and 4 July 2025. The training addressed the preparation of greenhouse gas emission inventories, carbon footprint calculation, verification processes, and reporting requirements within the framework of the ISO 14064-1, ISO 14064-2, and ISO 14064-3 standards.
The training was attended by 25 participants and delivered by Okay Kayhanlı, an Industrial Engineer serving as an ISO 14064-1 Lead Verifier, authorised as a Greenhouse Gas Lead Verifier by the Ministry of Environment, and serving as General Manager at an accredited certification body. The programme aimed to strengthen participants’ technical capacity in preparing and verifying corporate greenhouse gas inventories.
